Production Line Operator.
Location: Hobart, Indiana USA.
Hours per week: 8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday.
Contract Status: Permanent.
Reporting to: Production Line Lead.

The Role.
Based on one of the three lines, operatives are required to keep the line running through tasks such as placing bottles on the line, packaging products into their outer cases and cleaning and sanitizing the line.
The Responsibilities.
Operate tools, machinery, and equipment to produce goods and materials.
Follow instructions and adhere to all plant safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift to ensure a safe work environment.
Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production.
Works with entire production team to assist with manufacturing products from beginning to end.
Ensures that all completed products are packaged and materials are correct according to product specifications
Placing bottles onto line
Placing Caps/Pumps onto bottles
Packing Bottles/Jars/Tubes into outers
Erecting/coding and packing single user cartons
Stacking pallets in line with pallet structures
Line Wash Out and Sanitization
The Skills.
Experience in fast moving consumer goods environment, preferably food, personal care or pharmaceutical industry.
High attention to detail, ability to spot and rectify errors as they occur.
Ability conduct manual, repetitive work while maintaining high quality standards.
The ability to communicate effectively at all levels on an internal and external basis according to company and production needs.
