The Role.

To oversee the effective running of Production line production a wide range of Hair and Skincare Products. Ensuring high standards of Quality, Health & Safety compliance to all company policies, procedures and work instructions at all times.

The Responsibilities.

• Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are followed.
• Employ a proactive approach to reduce potential hazards.
• Reporting near misses and ensuring all machines have the relevant safety guards on, in full working order and all documentation is completed.
• Assume full responsibility for the quality of any product produced under your management.
• Carry out weight checks in line with average fill legislation, ensuring details are recorded and any anomalies are communicated and resolved immediately.
• Ensure you and your team are familiar with product standard sheet and any specific risks before running, by way of a full team brief at the start of each production run or shift.
• Manage and motivate the team, giving feedback, direction, coaching and training as necessary.
• Monitor line efficiencies against set line run rates and report hourly production figures. Communicate any inaccuracies, problems, trends, investigate and resolve issues immediately.
• Ensuring adherence to daily production plan.

• Any other duties as required as set out by the Shift Production Manager.

The Skills.

• Two years of manufacturing/production experience in an FMCG environment.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Good Health & Safety awareness.
• A flexible approach and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication, well organised, with excellent attention to detail.
